Jean-Pierre Rousset is a French native photographer living in Maine, USA.

He is known since 1997 for his photographic work about UNESCO World Heritage (in category Landscapes, Cathedrals, most beautiful Villages and Cities.)
He owns one of the major photo database in Europe covering the Camino, which was recognized as the First European Cultural Itinerary in 1987. His pictures appear in an art books collection he founded in 1998 and in many magazines in Europe.

He also works for museums, galleries, collectors and artists for their portfolios, as a specialist of photography of fine art and color management.
He was hired by the French Ministry of Culture to create a digital photo stock of all the local art heritage museums in the South of France.
In Maine, USA, he found that people have the same passion for their roots, history, buildings and tools, as we do in France.
He strongly believes that preserving such memory is of major importance in order to keep the Soul of a country alive, especially in times of world globalization.

What is more beautiful than an old barn when all things turn to plastic?
